I was watching a video of some YT RVers crossing back into the US in Tijuana, and when they followed the directions Google gave them, they ended up on a road that led to the wrong gate, one where the officer yelled at them that they were in violation of a rule with a $5,000 fine! Since I have been thinking about that crossing, I started trying to identify where and when to get in line for the right gates, and it was very difficult to tell. On top of the problem of telling what it is that you're looking at on Google Street View, they don't show but a few shots of the border crossings, I guess since that might give too much advantage to people who are up to no good, supposedly. But the problem is that you can't tell where you're going to need to know. Maybe the road signs are easier to follow than they look online, but if not, I wish they'd simplify the approaches to the crossings. I don't want anyone yelling at me, and I don't want to pay a $5,000 fine just for following Google's directions!
